Summer 2026 Retail Management Intern - Retail

About the role#

The Kroger Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience designed to help students grow their careers through focused assignments. Interns will lead projects, refine professional skills, and work alongside industry leaders. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity.

What you'll do#

• Assist retail and digital marketing managers with the development, execution, and measurement of business campaigns.
• Conduct research on products, competitors, services, and processes.
• Manage the full lifecycle of data collection, including planning, gathering, analyzing, and reporting findings.
• Compile data, summarize conclusions, and present findings to team members.
• Create reports and documentation in response to business inquiries.
• Communicate status updates and potential issues to relevant team members.
• Participate in team meetings and provide feedback.
• Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments to present to the leadership team.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Data Science, or Statistics.
• Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in groups.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to change as a positive challenge.
• Desired qualifications include experience with data analysis, digital marketing, or analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
