Summer 2026 Human Resources Intern- Retail

About the role#

The Kroger Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience designed to help students grow their professional skills through focused assignments. Interns will lead projects, work alongside industry leaders, and collaborate with other students. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.

What you'll do#

• Assist retail and digital marketing managers in developing, executing, and measuring business campaigns.
• Conduct comprehensive research on products, competitors, services, and internal processes.
• Manage data collection, including planning, gathering, analyzing, and reporting findings.
• Compile data, summarize conclusions, and present findings to team members.
• Create reports and documentation in response to organizational requests.
• Communicate status updates and participate in team meetings.
• Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments to present to the leadership team.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related fields.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship for employment in the United States.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work both independently and in groups.
• High level of motivation, initiative, and multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Desired: Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or coursework in digital marketing.
