About the role#
The Spring 2027 Financial Audit Internship is a 16-week immersive program running from January 11 to April 23. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Interns will work directly with the audit team to gain hands-on experience in financial review processes and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Work as a member of the audit team under the supervision of the auditor-in-charge.
- Conduct or assist in conducting reviews of assigned organizational or functional activities.
- Gain an understanding of company functions and related policies for the areas under review.
- Complete audit program steps, including internal control reviews and testing of financial statement balances.
- Prepare or assist in preparing comments to report audit findings.
- Verify the accuracy of findings through discussions with staff members.
- Provide assistance to other Internal Auditors as requested.
- Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments to present to the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Business Administration at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality of information.
- Ability to work effectively both in groups and independently.
- Must possess work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
