About the role#
The Kroger Spring Internship Program is a 12-week, full-time immersive experience. Interns work within the Corporate Supply Chain team and various operational departments including engineering, procurement, transportation, and logistics. You will lead projects, refine your skills, and work alongside industry leaders. This position runs from January 11th to April 23rd, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple supply chain projects while meeting deadlines.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to relevant teams.
- Document supply chain processes and best practices.
- Create and support process improvement projects.
- Conduct supply chain analysis and recommend new project opportunities.
- Partner with teams to elicit, analyze, and deliver supply chain solutions.
- Manage project risks and escalate unresolved issues.
- Complete a cumulative project and present your findings to the executive team or managers.
What you'll need#
- Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university.
- Open to all majors, with preference for Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Transportation, Retail Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or Operations Management.
- Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities between school and work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a group.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated accountability for decisions and commitment to customer service.
