PHARMACY/PHARMCST-GRAD INTERN

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Graduate Intern, you will support the pharmacy department in delivering exceptional pharmacy practice. This role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both team members and patients while assisting with daily production goals and quality assurance standards.

What you'll do#

• Assist the department manager in achieving daily production goals and monitoring quality assurance standards.
• Prepare prescriptions accurately, follow staging procedures, and perform production audits.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering questions and interacting with coworkers professionally.
• Reinforce safety programs by identifying hazards, reporting accidents, and adhering to shrink guidelines.
• Enter patient information into the system and maintain records on prescription volume.

What you'll need#

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy School.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• NABPLEx eligible within 90 days of hire.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High School Diploma or GED.
