PHARMACY/PHARMCST-GRAD INTERN

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Graduate Intern, you will assist the department manager in maintaining daily production goals and ensuring all quality assurance standards are met. This role focuses on creating a safe, professional, and efficient pharmacy environment while supporting both the provider and technical teams.

What you'll do#

• Assist the department manager in achieving daily production goals and monitoring quality assurance standards.
• Accurately and efficiently enter patient information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Count and prepare pharmaceutical products following company best practices.
• Fulfill prescriptions in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, and laws.
• Maintain organized records of prescription volume and perform necessary production audits.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace while adhering to shrink guidelines.
• Promote a positive team environment by interacting professionally with coworkers and answering questions regarding roles and responsibilities.
• Support safety programs by identifying hazards, inspecting equipment, and reporting any accidents or safety risks to management.

What you'll need#

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy School.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• NABPLEx eligible within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
