About the role#
As a Pharmacy Graduate Intern, you will gain leadership experience through pharmacy practice. You will work to establish a safe, clean, and professional environment for both provider and technical teams. This role focuses on supporting department managers in meeting production goals while upholding company standards for quality, safety, and inclusion.
What you'll do#
- Assist the department manager in achieving daily production goals.
- Count and prepare products according to company best practices.
- Maintain accurate records on prescription volume.
- Enter patient information into the system with high accuracy.
- Perform production audits and follow established staging procedures.
- Ensure the work station remains clean, organized, and compliant with shrink guidelines.
- Foster a welcoming environment by supporting associates and answering questions regarding roles and responsibilities.
- Demonstrate core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
- Comply with all safety programs, identify hazards, and report accidents or illegal activity to management.
What you'll need#
- Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy School.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- NABPLEx eligible within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction.
