About the role#
The Kroger Human Resources Internship for Supply Chain is a 12-week immersive program. It offers students hands-on experience by working within the Corporate Supply Chain team and various operational departments. You will spend the term leading projects, refining professional skills, and working alongside industry leaders. This role requires a full-time commitment from January 11th through April 23rd, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple supply chain projects while adhering to established timelines.
- Conduct supply chain analysis and assist with documentation of processes and best practices.
- Partner with teams to elicit, analyze, document, and deliver supply chain solutions.
- Assist in the creation of process improvement projects and identify new project opportunities.
- Communicate project status, potential risks, and issues to appropriate teams.
- Develop plans to address project risks and escalate unresolved issues.
- Complete a final cumulative project and present your findings to the executive team or managers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Majors in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Transportation, Retail Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or other fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently or within a group.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information to various levels of the organization.
- High level of motivation, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Work authorization that does not require sponsorship.
