About the role#
The Finance Intern-Supply Chain program is a 12-week immersive experience designed for students to grow their professional skills through focused assignments. You will work within the Corporate Supply Chain team and collaborate with operational departments including operations, engineering, procurement, and transportation. This role is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple supply chain projects while adhering to established timelines.
- Conduct supply chain analysis and assist with the documentation of processes and best practices.
- Partner with teams to elicit, analyze, and deliver supply chain solutions.
- Assist in the creation of process improvement projects and recommend new opportunities.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate unresolved issues.
- Communicate project status and potential risks to the appropriate teams.
- Complete a cumulative project and present your findings to the executive team or managers.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Transportation, Retail Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or other related fields.
- Must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in group settings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to various levels of the organization.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to change as a positive challenge.
- Demonstrated accountability, leadership, and a commitment to customer service.
