About the role#
The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience running from August 17 to December 4, 2026. This role is based within the Supply Planning Fresh Replenishment Meat team. Interns gain hands-on experience through focused assignments, professional development opportunities, and exposure to senior leadership while working alongside industry professionals.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple supply chain projects while adhering to established timelines.
- Conduct supply chain analysis to support business needs.
- Assist in the creation of process improvement projects.
- Document supply chain processes and best practices.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to relevant teams.
- Partner with teams to elicit, analyze, and deliver supply chain solutions.
- Develop project risk plans and escalate unresolved issues.
- Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments for presentation to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to various levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities between school, work, and extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Must possess valid work authorization that does not require current or future visa sponsorship.
