Fall 2026 Operations/Manufacturing Intern- Supply Chain

About the role#

The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience running from August 17 to December 4, 2026. This role is based within the Corporate Supply Chain team and offers exposure to various operational departments, including Logistics, Engineering, Procurement, Transportation, and Inventory. Interns will work on focused assignments, lead projects, and connect with industry leaders.

What you'll do#

• Manage multiple supply chain projects while adhering to established timelines.
• Conduct supply chain analysis and apply findings to business needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to elicit, document, and deliver supply chain solutions.
• Assist with the documentation of supply chain processes and best practices.
• Support the creation of process improvement projects and assist with risk management.
• Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments and present it to the executive team.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university. While open to all majors, preferred fields include Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Agriculture, and Economics.
• Must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in group settings.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to maintain information confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to change as a positive challenge.
