Fall 2026 Financial Audit Intern

About the role#

The Fall 2026 Financial Audit Intern position is a 16-week immersive experience running from August 17 to December 4. Interns work as part of the audit team, assisting with the completion of audit programs and gaining exposure to organizational functions and company policies.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the audit team under the supervision of the auditor-in-charge to complete assigned audit programs.
• Conduct or assist in reviews of designated organizational or functional activities.
• Review internal controls, test financial statement balances, and prepare workpapers to support testing conclusions.
• Identify exceptions to company policy.
• Prepare comments on audit findings and verify accuracy through discussions with staff.
• Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments to present to the Division Executive Team or management.

What you'll need#

• Active enrollment in an accredited college or university, with a preference for accounting majors and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to various levels of the organization.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in group settings.
• Must possess work authorization that does not require sponsorship for employment in the United States.
