Fall 2026 Continuous Improvement Intern- Supply Chain

About the role#

The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience running from August 17 to December 4, 2026. This full-time, paid position provides students with hands-on experience within the Corporate Supply Chain team and related operational departments. Interns will work alongside industry leaders to refine professional skills and contribute to meaningful business projects.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the creation and implementation of process improvement projects.
• Manage multiple supply chain projects while adhering to established timelines.
• Conduct supply chain analysis to support business needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to elicit, document, and deliver supply chain solutions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to appropriate stakeholders.
• Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments and present findings to management or the executive team.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information to various levels of the organization.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Must possess work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.
