Fall 2025 Facilities Intern -Fry's

About the role#

This internship provides an immersive experience within the retail division, focusing on store operations, marketing, merchandising, purchasing, supply chain management, financial analysis, and human resources. Interns will engage in job shadowing with store management, complete a designated retail project, and work alongside industry leaders to build professional skills.

What you'll do#

• Gain insight into creating a favorable customer shopping experience and the role of associate engagement in customer service.
• Observe how store managers lead teams in planning, implementing, and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Learn how store managers develop action plans and communicate effectively with store associates.
• Participate in training across multiple locations, including retail stores, distribution centers, and division offices.
• Curate a cumulative retail project to present to division leadership.
• Complete special assignments as requested.

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
