2026 Fall Human Resources Intern

About the role#

The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 10-week immersive experience designed to provide students with hands-on learning, exposure to senior leadership, and professional development. This role runs from August 17th to December 4th, 2026.

What you'll do#

• Assist retail and digital marketing managers with the development, execution, and measurement of business campaigns.
• Conduct full-cycle data collection and research, including planning, gathering, analyzing, and reporting.
• Provide research on products, competitors, services, and internal processes.
• Compile and organize data to summarize findings and present conclusions to team members.
• Create reports and support materials for stores and divisions.
• Communicate status updates and potential issues to team members and participate in meetings.
• Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments to present to the leadership team.

What you'll need#

• Active pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work both independently and in groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information to various levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and handle a significant level of multi-tasking.
• Must possess work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred background includes experience with data analysis, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or digital marketing coursework.
