2026 Fall Advertising Intern

About the role#

The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 10-week immersive experience designed to provide students with hands-on learning, exposure to senior leadership, and professional development. This is a paid, full-time position running from August 17, 2026, to December 4, 2026.

What you'll do#

• Assist retail and digital marketing managers with the development, execution, and measurement of campaigns.
• Conduct data collection and research, covering all phases of planning, gathering, analysis, and reporting.
• Compile and organize data, summarize findings, and present conclusions to team members.
• Provide research on products, competitors, services, and internal processes.
• Create reports and documentation in response to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Communicate status updates, participate in team meetings, and provide feedback.
• Support stores and divisions with requested materials.
• Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments to present to the leadership team.

What you'll need#

• Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or Data Science.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in group settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
• Desired experience includes data analysis, digital marketing coursework, and familiarity with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
