About the role#
The Community Relations Intern role offers a look into the planning and execution of programs for Kroenke Sports Charities. You will gain experience in how a professional sports organization manages its community presence and outreach efforts.
What you'll do#
- Support community programs for the Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Nuggets.
- Help coordinate department events, player appearances, and game night activities.
- Manage department inventory and keep the workspace organized.
- Handle data entry, photo labeling, and the tracking of department metrics.
- Assist with the autograph item donation program and ticket initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, ideally in Communications, Business Administration, or Marketing.
- The ability to obtain or maintain a valid driver license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a group.
- Professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Denver, Colorado.
- This is an on-site, part-time role at 29 hours per week.
- The role is paid at $19.29 per hour.
- Benefits include a 401K with an employer match.
