About the role#
The Podcast Operations and Engagement Intern supports the operations team in audience growth and engagement efforts. You will work with the Executive Director of Podcast and the Engagement Producer to help podcast teams reach listeners. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks, content creation, and research. You will gain experience in podcast metrics, promotional planning, and audience strategy while working with multiple production teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning, scripting, filming, and editing short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Produce social media assets, including video thumbnails, graphics, and carousels.
- Write promotional copy for internal and external collaborators.
- Produce promotional audio material and manage the distribution of promos.
- Attend meetings and support various engagement activities as needed.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with video or audio editing software.
- Proficiency in digital tools like Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure.
- A self-starter mindset who works well in a team environment.
- Majors in Communications, Marketing, or Media Studies are preferred.

- This internship is based in San Francisco, California.
- The work modality is hybrid, splitting time between the office and remote work.
- The term runs from January 19, 2027, through June 25, 2027.
- This is a paid position at $19.61 per hour, requiring 16 hours per week.
