About the role#
This internship offers a 12-week program focused on gaining hands-on experience within the manufacturing and supply chain sectors. You will work in a structured environment that includes mentorship and training while contributing to actual business projects.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and collaborate with experienced supply chain professionals on live projects.
- Focus on lead time reduction and availability improvement initiatives.
- Analyze specific parts or groups of parts by material and operations to address excessive lead times.
- Collaborate directly with suppliers.
- Assist the procurement and planning teams by developing new tools.
- Design Power BI dashboards to track quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Supply Chain or Data Analytics program at a 4-year accredited university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables) and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and adapt to new business environments.
- A strong motivation to drive results and contribute to the team.
- Prior experience through work-study programs, leadership roles, or professional organizations is preferred.
