About the role#
Komatsu offers a 12-week internship program for engineering students. You will gain experience through training, mentorship, and direct exposure to various areas within our engineering group.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and work with experienced engineers on real projects.
- Participate in design, analysis, test, and systems engineering activities.
- Apply your academic background to practical business challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an electrical or mechanical engineering program at a 4-year accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel pivot tables and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines, multi-task, and adapt to new challenges.
- Motivation to drive results and contribute to the team.
- Prior experience through work-study programs, leadership roles, or team participation is preferred.

- Location: Peoria, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18 - $24 per hour.
