About the role#
Georgia-Pacific is hiring interns for the Toledo, Oregon pulp and paper facility. These positions are paid, full-time, and on-site. Internships last between three and six months, with terms available for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2027. You will work alongside employees to address business needs and gain exposure to the operations of an integrated mill.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects aligned with the requirements of your assigned department and field of study.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze data, solve problems, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support initiatives related to safety, reliability, maintenance, project execution, process improvement, environmental performance, financial analysis, operational efficiency, quality, production, or cost savings.
- Present recommendations and project results to department and mill leaders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Eligibility for full-time employment by the end of 2028.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.
