About the role#
This is a 12-week, on-site internship based at our Consumer Products Manufacturing facility in Darlington, South Carolina. You will join the finance team for the summer of 2027, working from mid-May through early August. This role is designed for students interested in pursuing a full-time career at the Darlington facility or another nearby Georgia-Pacific location after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams across Finance and Operations to solve real business challenges.
- Support FP&A activities, including forecasting, planning, benchmarking, gap analysis, and reporting.
- Contribute to the evolution of finance processes and tools.
- Implement operations and finance best practices.
- Advance financial reporting through Excel modeling and data analytics.
- Adapt to changing business needs and priorities while providing data-driven insights.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program or an alternative program such as a technical or certificate course.
- A foundational understanding of accounting processes, financial principles, and economic reasoning.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and reports.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to turn findings into recommendations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Eligibility for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028.
