About the role#
This internship provides real-world experience in accounting procedures and principles. The role is part-time, requiring approximately 20 or more hours per week, and is designed to accommodate current school schedules.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile plant daily cash summary reports.
- Assemble support documentation for customer refunds.
- Assist with customer pre-lien notifications.
- Perform scanning and filing duties.
- Provide coverage for the inter-company mail route.
- Research and resolve customer accounts receivable issues.
- Complete other department tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with computers, specifically Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions, maintain workflow, and handle difficult situations.
- Ability to maintain proprietary and confidential information.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
