About the role#
Knife River Corporation is hiring a Field Intern to work on-site in Boise, Idaho. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work directly with our project teams to support daily construction operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with tracking quantities and submittals.
- Support the development of RFIs and assist with layout and surveying tasks.
- Conduct daily cost tracking and prepare daily reports.
- Monitor quality control and help maintain the site safety plan.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Project.
- A self-starter mindset with a desire to learn.
- A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy.
- Ability to pass a post-offer pre-employment drug test and participate in random testing throughout your employment.
