Field Intern

About the role#

Knife River Corporation is seeking a Field Intern to join our construction team in Boise, Idaho. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment drug testing and random testing throughout their employment.

What you'll do#

• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with tracking quantities and submittals.
• Support the development of RFIs, layout, and surveying tasks.
• Conduct daily cost tracking and prepare daily reports.
• Perform quality control duties and provide support for the company safety plan.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, and Project.
• A self-starting attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy requirements.
