About the role#
As a Software Engineer (AI/ML) Intern, you will work within the Measurement, Analytics and Control division. You will contribute to high-impact projects that support semiconductor manufacturing, focusing on large-scale software systems and machine learning applications. This is a full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Deliver high-impact work to advance business priorities.
- Contribute to the development of platforms for large-scale software systems.
- Manage data tasks and develop solutions for machine learning model training and inference.
- Analyze complex data to formulate creative technical solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Masters or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Data Science.
- Hands-on development experience in Python, C++, C#, or Java.
- A deep conceptual understanding of multi-threaded and multi-process software systems.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Deep Learning solutions.
- Experience with traditional machine learning (Random Forest, XG Boost, Logistic Regression) and Deep Learning (regression, classification, Generative models).
- Proficiency with frameworks such as TensorFlow, Pytorch, NumPy, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with distributed systems, distributed computing infrastructure, and cloud technologies (storage, containerization, compute clusters).
- Understanding of GPU architectures and data management.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on team success.
