About the role#
We are looking for an Algorithm Engineering Intern to join our team in Milpitas. You will work on accelerating and optimizing image-processing and computer vision algorithms on GPU platforms. This is a full-time, on-site position for students currently pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Focus on the acceleration and optimization of computer vision and image-processing algorithms.
- Work on GPU platforms to improve compute efficiency.
- Apply hardware-aware software design techniques to solve complex technical challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Hands-on experience developing CUDA applications and writing CUDA kernels.
- Knowledge of GPU architecture and parallel programming concepts.
- Experience working in Linux-based software development environments.
- Proficiency in writing CUDA kernels for compute-intensive workloads.
- Understanding of CUDA kernel optimization techniques for memory and compute performance.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Less than 1 year of related experience.
