About the role#
This 10-week remote internship supports enrollment, scheduling, and staff data management for KIPP North Carolina. You will work with the data team to maintain system integrity across seven K-12 schools while gaining experience in educational data operations and compliance. The role requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week from July through September.
What you'll do#
- Process and update student enrollment records in Infinite Campus.
- Support student scheduling tasks for grades K-8.
- Assist with staff data updates and verify employment records.
- Perform data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate reports concerning enrollment and staffing.
- Provide administrative support for data requests while adhering to FERPA confidentiality guidelines.
What you'll need#
- PowerSchool Certification or Infinite Campus Administrator status.
- Knowledge of NCDPI student accounting practices and regulations.
- 1-3 years of experience in data management, including entry, organization, and validation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Access to a stable remote work environment with reliable internet.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.

- Location: Remote (North Carolina).

- Compensation: $15 to $25 per hour, based on experience.
