About the role#
This remote internship provides hands-on experience in educational data operations. You will support enrollment, scheduling, and staff data management across seven K-12 schools. The role runs for 10 weeks from July to September and requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Process and update student enrollment records in Infinite Campus.
- Support student scheduling tasks for grades K-8.
- Assist with staff data updates and verify employment records.
- Perform data audits and resolve discrepancies to maintain system integrity.
- Generate reports on enrollment and staffing.
- Provide administrative support for data requests while following FERPA guidelines.
What you'll need#
- PowerSchool Certification or Infinite Campus Administrator experience.
- Knowledge of NCDPI student accounting practices and regulations.
- 1-3 years of experience in data management, including data entry and validation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Access to a stable remote work environment with reliable internet.
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote (North Carolina).
- Term: Summer 2026 (July to September).
- Compensation: $15 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
