Part-Time Student Enrollment Data Intern

About the role#

KIPP North Carolina is seeking a Part-Time Student Enrollment Data Intern for the summer of 2026. This 10-week remote internship focuses on educational data operations, supporting enrollment, scheduling, and staff data management across seven schools. You will work approximately 20 hours per week to assist with the verification of over 800 new student records while gaining experience in system compliance and school operations.

What you'll do#

• Accurately process and update student enrollment records in Infinite Campus.
• Support K–8 student scheduling tasks.
• Assist with staff data updates and employment record verification.
• Perform data audits to resolve discrepancies and maintain system integrity.
• Generate reports related to enrollment and staffing.
• Collaborate with the data team to enhance workflows and provide administrative support for data requests.
• Adhere to FERPA guidelines to ensure data confidentiality.

What you'll need#

• PowerSchool Certification or Infinite Campus Administrator certification.
• Knowledge of NCDPI student accounting practices and regulations.
• 1–3 years of experience in data management, including data entry, organization, and validation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Access to a stable remote work environment with reliable internet.
• Current enrollment in a degree program such as Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.

Location & details#

• Location: Remote (North Carolina).
• Term: Summer 2026 (July – September).
• Compensation: $15 – $25 per hour, based on experience.
• This is a part-time, paid internship.
