About the role#
We are hiring a Transportation Planning Intern to join our team in Reston, Virginia. This is an on-site, full-time position that offers exposure to both the technical and client-facing sides of our work. You will work directly with project managers and collaborate across different disciplines to help our clients meet their goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with various transportation planning projects, including Safety Action Plans, campus masterplans, mobility planning, and parking and curbside management.
- Analyze data to identify trends, evaluate alternatives, and support project recommendations.
- Prepare project analysis and deliverables using GIS, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Participate in public, client, and project team meetings.
- Solve complex problems and communicate technical information clearly.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Planning or a related field from an accredited program.

- Location: Reston, Virginia.
- Modality: This is an on-site role.
- Compensation: $30 to $31 per hour.
- Availability: This is a rolling term position.
