About the role#
We are hiring a Structural Intern for our office in North Austin, Texas. This is a full-time, on-site internship position with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Analyze, produce, and quality-check project deliverables using technical software.
- Contribute to pre-construction efforts for structural projects, including bridges and retaining walls.
- Prepare structural plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Assist project managers in solving complex technical problems.
- Work with different disciplines to complete project goals.
- Learn to use software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS.
- Develop an understanding of federal, state, and local engineering regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.
