About the role#
Kimley-Horn is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join the Natural Gas team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and quality control project deliverables.
- Solve complex problems and assist project managers while collaborating across different disciplines.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client standards.
- Perform general mechanical engineering tasks to support various project managers.
- Work on a wide variety of projects, including project due diligence, site constraints, jurisdictional permitting, and agency coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree program (Bachelors or Masters).
