About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring Landscape Architecture students for our Houston office. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. We offer rolling start dates for students currently working toward their degree.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and quality-check project deliverables.
- Assist with site planning, urban design, and technical production.
- Work on projects like streetscapes, residential developments, public infrastructure, and parks.
- Help project managers solve complex problems.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to bring client visions to life.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations alongside our internal procedures.
- Gain experience with software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, GIS, and Excel.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture.

- This position is based in Houston, Texas.
