About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring a Landscape Architecture Intern for our Charlotte, North Carolina office. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work on a variety of projects, including land planning, urban design, mixed-use and residential developments, streetscapes, and public infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and check project deliverables.
- Assist with site planning, urban design, and the production of technical drawings and graphics.
- Solve project problems and support project managers.
- Work with team members across different disciplines to bring client visions to life.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with company standards.
- Gain experience with software such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture.
