About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring Civil Engineering Interns for our office in Towson, Maryland. This is a full-time, on-site role that offers an hourly wage between $27 and $28. We are looking for students who want to gain hands-on experience in pre-construction design and project planning.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and quality check project deliverables.
- Assist with civil engineering design, permitting, and planning tasks.
- Help project managers solve technical problems.
- Work with different teams to complete project designs.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with company standards.
- Gain proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
