About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring engineering students for our office in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site internship. You will work on pre-construction design, planning, and analysis for a variety of projects.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-check project deliverables.
- Contribute to design, permitting, and planning tasks.
- Solve complex problems alongside project managers.
- Work with different teams to complete client projects.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations.
- Gain proficiency in discipline-specific software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.
