    About the role#

    Kimley-Horn is hiring Civil Engineering Interns for our Palm Beach Gardens, Florida office. This is a full-time, on-site position. We are looking for students who want to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering design and project planning.

    What you'll do#

    You will work on pre-construction design, permitting, and analysis for projects of varying sizes. Your daily work includes using technical software to produce and quality check project deliverables. You will assist project managers, solve technical problems, and collaborate with team members across different disciplines. You will also learn to apply federal, state, and local regulations alongside our internal project standards. Depending on your specific focus, you will gain experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.

    What you'll need#

    You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree from an ABET accredited program. Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.

    Location & details#

    This internship is located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. It is an on-site role with a rolling term. This position is paid and requires full-time availability.
