About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring engineering students for our Childress, Texas office. This is a full-time, paid internship that operates on a rolling basis. You will work on-site as part of our engineering team.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to pre-construction design, planning, permitting, and analysis for various projects.
- Use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-check client deliverables.
- Collaborate across disciplines to solve problems and assist project managers.
- Learn software programs specific to your discipline, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
- Gain familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations along with our internal project standards.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.
