About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring engineering students for an on-site internship in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date. You will work directly with project managers and interdisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and check project deliverables.
- Assist with pre-construction design, planning, permitting, and analysis for various projects.
- Solve technical problems and help project managers meet client goals.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations alongside company standards.
- Gain experience with discipline-specific software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Students pursuing a degree in Engineering Technology are also eligible.
