About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring engineering students for our Irving Las Colinas office. This is a full-time, on-site internship position. You will work on pre-construction civil engineering projects and support our project managers.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and check project deliverables.
- Contribute to design, planning, permitting, and analysis for projects of various sizes.
- Solve problems and work with your team to meet client goals.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with company standards.
- Gain experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Students pursuing degrees in Engineering Technology are also eligible.
