Retail Excellence & Operations Intern

About the role#

KHAITE is seeking a Retail Excellence & Operations Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. Reporting to the Head of Retail at our New York City headquarters, this role supports initiatives focused on retail experience, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This internship is unpaid and intended for college credit.

What you'll do#

• Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to track store performance, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Identify and support opportunities for process improvements in areas such as inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service protocols.
• Streamline communication across the retail network.
• Conduct competitive research and benchmarking to identify best practices in luxury retail.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, project statuses, and key performance indicators.
• Assist in the creation, rollout, and analysis of CRM programming.
• Compile presentations to support team development from leadership to staff levels.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.
• Prior internship or work experience in a retail or customer-centric industry; luxury experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
