PR Internship

About the role#

KHAITE is seeking a PR Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This role reports to the PR Manager and is based at the New York City headquarters. This position is unpaid and intended for college credit only.

What you'll do#

• Assist with sample trafficking between internal departments, media outlets, stylists, and influencers.
• Coordinate domestic and international sample shipping and local courier services.
• Monitor press and social media daily to track KHAITE placements and compile internal reports.
• Support the team in creating seasonal press assets, including lookbooks, collection decks, and high-resolution imagery.
• Conduct industry research for brand marketing, influencer seeding, and partnerships.
• Assist with the planning and execution of press events such as runway shows, re-see events, VIP fittings, and brand dinners.
• Track event coverage across social and media platforms for post-event recap reporting.
• Maintain and organize the sample closet, showroom, and storage unit.
• Liaise with retail and logistics teams to coordinate stock pulls, returns, and inventory management.
• Strategize seasonal gifting initiatives and analyze results across social media.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• A keen interest in the fashion industry.
• Relevant coursework in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.
