About the role#
The Events team is looking for an intern to help prepare for our busiest seasons. This role aligns with academic breaks and provides hands-on experience in event operations. You will work directly with our events staff on vendor coordination, inventory management, and asset upkeep.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with booth vendors and communicate requirements.
- Track vendor responses, timelines, and deliverables.
- Audit current swag inventory and coordinate replenishment orders.
- Source and order new promotional materials.
- Conduct physical audits of booth properties and equipment.
- Document and flag damaged, missing, or worn assets.
- Maintain records of vendor communications, inventory, and asset condition.
- Support the events team with general administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Ability to work during the summer 2027 break period.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university as of September 2027.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort communicating with external vendors via email and phone.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, specifically Excel and Sheets.
- An interest in event planning, marketing, or operations is a plus.
- Prior internship or customer-facing experience is a plus.
