About the role#
As a bilingual Localization Intern, you will support our Product department by providing technical and linguistic expertise. You will report to the Localization Manager and receive mentorship from members of the Keeper team. This is a paid internship covering the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms, with a possibility of extension based on performance and company needs.
What you'll do#
- Translate technical and marketing content, including UI text, documentation, and help articles, from English to Brazilian Portuguese.
- Use CAT and AI tools to create and maintain translation consistency, internal style guides, templates, and terminology glossaries.
- Perform quality assurance checks on translations to ensure accuracy, clarity, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to ensure documentation reflects current product features.
- Assist in developing, producing, and editing end-user training videos and materials in Portuguese.
- Provide feedback on source English content to improve localizability.
What you'll need#
- Native or proficient level in Brazilian Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience localizing software products or marketing content using various tools.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of technical concepts such as software development, APIs, cloud platforms, web applications, and databases.
- Basic proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- This is a full-time, 100% remote internship.
- We do not offer school credit for this position.
