About the role#
K&L Gates is seeking a 2L Summer Associate to join the Finance practice area in our Charlotte office. This program provides law students with a comprehensive view of the firm. You will work alongside experienced lawyers who provide active mentoring as you learn about our clients, practices, and firm culture.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with experienced lawyers on legal matters.
- Learn about our clients, practices, and firm culture.
- Engage in the day-to-day operations of the Finance practice.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Class of 2029 J.D. student.
- A strong, expressed interest in the Finance practice area.
- Superior academic credentials.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to the highest quality of client service.
