About the role#
K&L Gates is hiring 2L Summer Associates for our Corporate practice. This program is for students seeking a full view of the firm. You will work alongside experienced lawyers who provide active mentoring as you learn about our clients, our practices, and our culture.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with experienced lawyers on legal matters.
- Participate in mentorship opportunities throughout the summer.
- Learn about the firm's clients, practices, and internal culture.
What you'll need#
- You must be a J.D. student in the Class of 2029.
- A strong interest in the Corporate practice area in Charlotte, Pittsburgh, or Seattle.
- Superior academic credentials.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to high-quality client service.
- You must be currently authorized to work in the United States. We do not provide sponsorship for this position.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2028.
- The role is on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, or Seattle, Washington.
