About the role#
The JTI Summer Internship Program in Raleigh offers students and recent graduates hands-on experience within a global organization. You will work on defined projects that address real business opportunities, collaborate with experienced professionals, and build practical skills. The program includes opportunities in People & Culture, Corporate Affairs, Communications, and various Marketing functions. You will participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and present your final project findings and recommendations.
What you'll do#
- Complete a defined project that addresses a meaningful business opportunity.
- Collaborate with colleagues within your assigned function and across the organization.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute your own ideas and recommendations.
- Prepare project deliverables and present your findings and proposed next steps.
- Support day-to-day activities as needed within your assigned function.
- Engage in internship events, networking, and professional development activities.
- Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and business practices.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior in a bachelor’s program, a current graduate student with at least one semester left, or a recent graduate within one year of finishing your bachelor’s degree.
- Academic background related to your selected internship area.
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Interest in working within a multinational organization.
