About the role#
The MSAT Engineer Co-op joins the Manufacturing Science and Technology team in Wilson, North Carolina. This role supports the process technology strategy for a new bioprocessing facility. You will report to the MSAT Engineer and contribute to process validation, equipment standardization, and the life cycle management of commercial production processes.
What you'll do#
- Draft accurate validation protocols and summary reports that meet documentation standards.
- Support the execution of validation studies by collecting data, reviewing findings, and documenting results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects, investigations, and improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate MSAT activities and deliverables with vendors and contractors.
- Participate in meetings with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Laboratory teams to track action items.
- Complete all required technical, safety, and compliance training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university or college program for the duration of the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
