About the role#
We are looking for a Systems Test Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Danvers, Massachusetts. In this role, you will support the development and testing of Impella pump systems. You will work with a team to ensure our technology meets safety and regulatory standards for patients who rely on our heart recovery products.
What you'll do#
- Write, maintain, and run integration and regression test plans for the Impella system.
- Support change control and release processes, including updating drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials.
- Prepare verification evidence for project documentation.
- Work with the Quality, Regulatory, Software, and Manufacturing teams to align on verification strategies.
- Assist with system-level risk assessments.
- Contribute to design changes, CAPA investigations, and regulatory submissions.
What you'll need#
- You must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, design, and testing skills.
- Attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Experience with SolidWorks or a similar CAD program is preferred.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for company sponsorship now or in the future.
