About the role#
DePuy Synthes is seeking 10 Supply Chain Engineering Co-Ops for the Winter 2027 term. This program runs from January to May 2027 and requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. You will be assigned to one of five departments, including Operations, End-to-End Projects, BEX, or Manufacturing Systems, to contribute to the facility's value streams.
What you'll do#
- Assist with process, project, and quality activities across the manufacturing network.
- Participate in the day-to-day functions of a medical device manufacturing facility.
- Develop business documents, such as validation protocols, engineering studies, and work instructions.
- Support senior engineers on Business Continuity and Cost Improvement projects.
- Create and analyze manufacturing data to recommend process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate engineering curriculum, having completed at least your freshman year.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Python and Power BI.
- Understanding of engineering analysis tools, such as statistical process control and reporting mechanisms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to commute 5 days per week to the facility.
- Previous experience in GMP manufacturing, medical devices, FDA-related activities, or project management is recommended, as is at least one prior co-op experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.

- This is an on-site position located in Raynham, Massachusetts, and Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
- This role is paid and eligible for company-sponsored medical benefits and pension participation.
