About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Electrical Engineering Co-op position based in Danvers, Massachusetts. You will work with experienced hardware engineers to support the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware. This role runs from January 11, 2027, to June 25, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist in designing and evaluating analog and digital electronic circuits.
- Support PCB schematic capture, layout reviews, and component selection.
- Build, test, and troubleshoot hardware prototypes and engineering samples.
- Perform laboratory testing, data collection, and analysis.
- Help create engineering documentation, test reports, BOMs, and design specifications.
- Support hardware verification, validation, and regulatory testing.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
- Participate in design reviews and technical problem-solving.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electronics fundamentals.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCad.
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded systems, and circuit simulation tools like LTspice or PSpice.
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or other engineering software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
