Johnson Electric is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Vandalia, Ohio. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical experience within a manufacturing environment and contribute to the company's ongoing operations.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to understand business operations and processes.
- Contribute to large-scale projects, taking on a leading role.
- Build professional relationships across various departments.
- Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Participate in and select 2-3 hands-on projects related to engineering, quality, or operations leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 semesters of coursework remaining in your degree program.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the rotation.
- An enthusiastic, self-motivated approach and a strong passion for learning.
